Loft life

I first saw the images of the study/workspace on emmas design blog and followed the trail to Residence magazine to find pics of the rest of the house. As the pictures where downloading, you know how the internet is? I thought it was a loft space and then discovered that it was actually a pretty average from the outside seaside house. But inside! It has the feeling of a great big Scandinavian loft. I realized just how easily that feeling could be achieved with the totally open floor plan, the right window frames, soaring ceilings and lovely beams. And then the setting, well, now you know you can have the best of both worlds the city loft and the sea side location. The home owned by interior decorator Marie Olsson Nylander is filled with a crazy mix of all sorts of furniture, but it works!
