The poster above, found in France, bought from a teeny antique store owned by a very sweet french version of a Brooklyn hipster.
The zig zag chevron carpet that still has its newness creases in it.
Some Mozambican certificates pilfered from hubby's mums garage that I stuck in a vase.
Found these two wonderful cream ceramic things from the Hospice store that I have big plans for but for now will be candlesticks. The hand painted yard stick in the back round from Falksons Tent Makers.
The gold cage lamp that I photographed and then promptly dropped and broke (luckily just the bulb) boo hoo...
And this old beauty! Imagine traveling with a set of these. The luggage tag still has the owners name on it, a greek surname and an address in Hyde Park JHB, maybe I should track him down and see if he has the rest of them.
Ooooh...where did you get the gold lamp?
ReplyDeleteJust fainted after seeing the Gucci luggage... xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHey, I've also got some of those ceramic things that I picked up in the Karoo. Apparently they're used on telephone poles.
ReplyDeletePs. Very beautiful blog and photographs
Where does that zigzag chevron carpet come from please? I'm desperate to find one as big & beautiful as yours!

Hi M. Found the carpet at the gatehouse in kramerville. I think they still have some. Call them and see! Goodluck.
ReplyDeleteThank you & by the way I love it here. :)
