Happy Monday
What a nice weekend, got all sorts of randomness done. Finally hung the damn washing line so that I don't have to have washing all over the garden on wash day. Not a good look. This is far from all that day to day ugliness, a serene start to the week.

Take it to the basement
After losing all my stored images from my last computer, finding these favorites again was so exciting. I've never forgotten decorator Steven Gambrel's spectacular West Village basement kitchen. I think if one tried to replicate it above ground or with more windows it just would not be the same.
