Pale and interesting

Loved this, found it here. Thanks Reelinki. How insane is that kitchen island?

Arrrgghhh

Maybe its all the dust from the renovations that's making me crave a little white, clean and serene. Love this beautiful home of photographer Jonas Ingerstedt. Thanks Design Traveller for the inspiration.

Another look

If you think you've seen these before, you have... but I love them! Mr Smiths gorgeous home.

White out

There should be a word for that feeling one gets every now and then, the one where you want to paint your whole house white.  Lovely images via Loppelilla.

That wall

Yup, the one with the beloved Jelde in front of it. I've had it pinned on my 'One day I'll have one' board (I don't really have one of those, but you know what I mean) So when I stumbled upon Copenhagen based Norm Architects I was thrilled to find the 'rest' of the house. Humlebaek House to be exact. The simple concrete floors and the washed brick wall add some textural interest to an otherwise very white space. Love it all.

Sober in the Hamptons

James Hunifords Hamptons home is so perfect in her sobriety. The lovely greys and pale blues and greens so calming. Filled with interesting not obvious finds. But the thing I love the most is the unlikely chain sculpture between the two doors in the bedroom. Found via Est magazine and Elle Decor.

Maison Martin Margiela

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA AT LES SOURCES DE CAUDALIE

While browsing the net this morning I chanced upon this and had to share. The link to the site for Design Folio Magazine has some incredible interiors. I suggest you check them out. The description for this post was succinct and I've copied and pasted almost word for word (Thank you Claire Sullivan)

Les Sources de Caudalie is a luxury spa in the Bordeaux region of France. The "Ile aux Oiseaux" suite sits apart from the hotel in a stilt-mounted cabin. Filled with calfskin rugs, cracked mirrors and antique furniture, and amidst the typically Margiela white-on-white decor, a flash of scarlet comes in the form of a giant pair of lips—a replica of Salvador Dali’s classic Mae West Sofa from 1936.
