Hand Made Home

I recently found these images and please forgive me but I cannot remember where, I will keep searching for their origin. I've been thinking about everyone in the Northern hemisphere and how they must be in hibernation mode early this year. It seems to be snowing and freezing every where. This house looks dutch to me, the windows directly onto the street, where passersby can see everything you are up to. On a visit to Amsterdam I noticed that the dutch don't seem to mind the odd person looking in (only tourists do that...ie. ME) and few have curtains or blinds. They all seem very house proud and show off their gorgeous interiors instead of hiding them behind drapes. This is no exception, I love the simplicity of this, a black and white palette and wood and wool thrown in for texture.
