Made and Found

A few things made and found this week. I found four of these chairs at the Hospice, they were covered in this hideous seventies taupe velvet stuff. I found a remnant of this St Ledger mock croc and covered two of them, the other two I think have been permanently "borrowed" by my dear friend Candice.

My son and I took the chairs apart and stapled the new fabric to the chairs. He loves a bit of DIY.

This Louis Olivier charcoal and wax on old map paper was a recent accquisition that I had framed by a really lovely (and reasonable) framer Dr Fred.

This print also framed by Fred, I found at one of the stands at the Food and Design show at Hyde Park a while ago.

This cute carved wooden sign from @Home!!!

Giant laundry safety pins that I dug out of a drawer somewhere.

This turned out nicely... the huge half chrome light bulbs were part of Mango's window display last summer. I had my very sweet and obliging set builder Kito to make me the wooden block to cover the ugly bits.
