Not normally one for dark wood doors and paneling. But somehow I adore they way its been left alone and all the walls have been painted the same murky grey green. (Phil it reminds me of your old spare room) Love the hits of brass and cararra marble against that colour. It's not overly decorated, or cluttered, instead like a beautiful collection of someones favorite things, and as for that Ace Hotel blanket on the bed... love! Beautifully photographed by Phillip K Erickson.

Say Spa...ahh!
By default I got to spend the morning at the spa with my sister. What fun and just what I needed. Sorry Dayle that you had to slip a disc for me to enjoy what should have been yours. xxx

Resting
One thing South Africans do well is public holidays. I've been enjoying one of many, and apparently we just got another. The 27 of Dec has just been declared a new public holiday. Just not sure what for? Spent the whole time clearing out the garage in huge anticipation of the 'studio' renovation due to take place early next year. And a little time spent looking for inspiration. Found this on photographer James Geer's website.
