At first the logo caught my eye. I love an illustrated animal. But it was the ass kicking lighting and beautiful brass details that really got me. The cactus screens and simple colours an extra bonus. Even the food looks good. Check out more of this project here.

Redd Wood

All of it , but mostly the continuous wood strip wall cladding that becomes the bench, brass light fittings, raw wood slab table, tufted black leather benches, bentwood chairs, gold leaf typography on the window.  See I told you I loved all of it.  Thank you Remodelista for always featuring the most delicious stuff out there.

Where they create

Absolutely beautiful interior photography by australian photographer Paul Barbera. In Sept 2011 he launches a book called Where They Create. A documentation of yes you guessed it, artists in their studios and homes. It will definitely be on my book list this year.
