These walls

Last weekend I painted my study charcoal, see pic here.  Always quite daunting painting a room so small that dark. But I love it! And with the onset of winter (well not really...whats up with that?) its a really cozy place to spend the mornings. I found this house on the ever gorgeous Desire to Inspire using the exact shade of my study, and thought I'd share.

Pattern

Working on something new and exciting that is stretching the brain in all directions. I really wish I was more proficient at Illustrator and Photoshop. I guarantee you my blog would look a whole lot better if I was. Sadly I was not blessed with patience, blessed only with a figure it out my own way (stubborness.) Here is whats on my mind this morning... and probably every morning till I get this design right.

Pink

While in NY my sister and I fell in love with a sofa. A pale pink linen tufted sofa. So unlike me to fall for something pink. I can hardly bring myself to dress my daughter in that colour. (I do though, so don't worry she's not being deprived) Now no matter what it takes I'm going to make sure something pink finds its way into my sisters apartment. These amazing nude pink walls made me think that this might be exactly what she needs.
