Anatomy Design

For a very long time I've been an admirer of the work of Anatomy Design, it was love at first sight when I laid my eyes on the Lab light. So when Andrea asked me to bring my Made and Found items into the store at 44 Stanley I was to say the least, thrilled!! Here are a few pics of the store. Last of the new designs to hit my kitchen table, cut and ready to be edged. Phew if only you could see the blisters...actually maybe not, that would be gross!

Some new designs

Yay, the new dishcloth and cushion designs are making their way home from the printers. In a few days they will be edged and ready to go. Order up!

Neighbourgoods

So sad that I'll be missing the opening weekend of the Neighbourgoods Market! Coming to Braamfontein on the 10th of Sept. Stop by the Merchants and Makers stand they'll have a bunch of my dishcloths for sale, YAY!

Dishing it out

I've decided to try out a few more fabrics, just tested a batch of this Zambian fabric that I've had lying around for years. My parents spent a few years living there and my Mom found a group of people that hand loomed this cotton. Made in a very narrow format perfect for dishcloths. The dyes used were also all natural, derived from local roots and barks. Also test drove some linen and loved the way it turned out.

Hot off the press

So excited that these are ready, four new dishcloth designs. The others were so well received that they are going into their second print run. Also some cute new packaging so that each design has its own little envelope.

Almost done

I just got a little progress report from Natasha at Inner City Ink. She sent this to show me how the dishcloths are coming along. SOOOOO excited!
