The Pretty Blog did a lovely write up on Anatomy Design recently. So proud to see mine, my sister and sister in laws ceramics alongside all the amazing new things that Andrea and Megan have in their beautiful new store. Like the new Design Letter mugs, Lyngby vases and Restart Milano lights.  Visit their new online store here to see more of the lines they carry. Feel free to shop like a maniac! I want it all! FoodWineDesign

This annual show hosted by Sanlam and Art Logic should really be renamed Food Wine Wine Wine Beards on hot guys Design. We had such a fun time, ate and drank our way through the food tent over three days.  We got to meet all the other awesome people that had stands there. The sweet and very talented Heather Moore (Skinny laminx), Chloe Townsend of Missibaba fame, the highly entertaining Tiaan Nagel and our lovely neighbour James Mudge (see - hot bearded guy) were amongst them. Such an honour. Some of these shots are a bit blurry, the last two shots from Kates blog Josephine Road, visit to see more of what we got up to.

Happening

Last week was a busy one... my son turned six, I prepared for two shoots, Kate and I shot some of our ceramics at my Moms house, we had birthday parties, swimming lessons, decked out Anatomy with lots of new stock and made all the new items that are making their debut at the fair, and I'm in for another. We set up our stand for Food Wine Design tomorrow, paint put up shelves and unpack everything on Thursday for the event to start Thursday evening. So excited. I hope that everyone that possibly can will join us for a glass on wine and an unwind. Here are a few pics from this past week.

Gearing up

For Food Wine Design hosted by Art Logic and held on the Hyde Park rooftop every year. Its so much fun to drink and eat your way through it. But my favourite thing is that I get to see all sorts of new local design. This year  Kate, Tiffany and I have a stand with the wonderful Andrea and Meg from Anatomy Design, which is such a huge honour. The perfect platform to launch The Assembly Design Co-Operative. A collaboration between myself and Kate and my sister who makes those gorgeous birdy ceramics.  We had a stamp and an embosser made for our new venture. Love them.

Boxed

Just before I left to go to NY I helped Andrea and Meg from Anatomy design put together these curiosity boxes. It was huge fun. A collection of old and new housed in beautifully made wooden boxes. Soon to be installed in a house in London. The hardest part of the job though was the part Meg did on the day I left. Packing and wrapping the boxes for shipping. She was on her knees wrestling with tape and bubble wrap for the entire day. Thank you guys for a really fun job. And thank you Des for photographing the whole lot!

Anatomy Design

For a very long time I've been an admirer of the work of Anatomy Design, it was love at first sight when I laid my eyes on the Lab light. So when Andrea asked me to bring my Made and Found items into the store at 44 Stanley I was to say the least, thrilled!! Here are a few pics of the store. Visit their website or the Anatomy Design blog here.
