The Pretty Blog
The Pretty Blog did a lovely write up on Anatomy Design recently. So proud to see mine, my sister and sister in laws ceramics alongside all the amazing new things that Andrea and Megan have in their beautiful new store. Like the new Design Letter mugs, Lyngby vases and Restart Milano lights. Visit their new online store here to see more of the lines they carry. Feel free to shop like a maniac! I want it all! The Assembly
A little home shoot that Kate of Josephine Road, Tiffany of TJW Designs and I threw together at high speed. We set it up in the studio and managed to get a whole bunch of shots done even with the kids rocketing around us ( revved up on cake pops from an earlier food shoot) I promise more info on all the items in the shots, but right now its time to finish packing for three for a week in Cape Town. YAY!!

Like ice cream
The colours are so gorgeous you just want to lick them. Gorgeous new ceramics designed and made by Kate at Josephine Road. We collected them yesterday from the kiln and not sure who was more excited! Always so thrilling to unpack finished products that have been in the design process for a while. Her faceted collection of espresso and coffee cups are a must for people who don't like handles on their mugs, me being one of them. Email her here to order.

Things I liked this week
I loved not liked that I won a versatile blogger award this week. Thank you Kat from Dot Dot Dash
To pass on the love here are seven blogs I love and seven totally random facts about myself.
1. I hate being late
2. I think in pictures
3. I'm atrocious at remembering names
4. I get really cranky if I don't eat
5. I can move my ears without touching them (how random is that!)
6. I want to start a sidewalk initiative so that more people in jhb can walk their suburbs
7. I collect corks

Meatlovers unite!
Just found this on Josephine Road, and if you are not already reading her you should be.
The Griffins Steakhouse Extraordinaire stirs up nostalgia for a bygone era. The burlesque grandeur and rich colours, give this restaurant its intoxicating atmosphere of travel and glamour. Designed by Gothenburg based Stylt, they are responsible for many high profile restaurant interiors in Europe. The eclectic setting with its vintage furnishings and collections of intimate objects, represents the personality of the imaginary host couple, The Griffins. This opulent experience is on my to-do list for my next trip to Stockholm.
