Trade show mania
Gearing up to do my first trade show on Thursday. Plenty to do. Plenty of nerves...not fun. Putting it all out there to be be scrutinized and hopefully there will be a little appreciating thrown in to make it worth while. Follow me on Instagram (miawidlake) for a little progress report. A few recent product snaps.

The Pretty Blog
The Pretty Blog did a lovely write up on Anatomy Design recently. So proud to see mine, my sister and sister in laws ceramics alongside all the amazing new things that Andrea and Megan have in their beautiful new store. Like the new Design Letter mugs, Lyngby vases and Restart Milano lights. Visit their new online store here to see more of the lines they carry. Feel free to shop like a maniac! I want it all! Lovely images by Lauren Kim.

Open for business
Yesterday, fueled by fabulous coffee and plum tarts, Kate and I spent a very busy day installing all the bits and pieces that make a job come alive. We put in all the plants, hung all the art and very nearly dressed the shelves. I say very nearly because we kept repurposing items and using them elsewhere. But its come together so nicely! Congratulations Kate on a job well done. And good luck Zane, hope there are lots of bums in those very nice tolix chairs. I snapped these on my phone, please excuse.

The R60 salad bowl
There is nothing I love more than some inventive use for something you find in the isles of your local Westpak. Sitting on set and admiring Des Ellis's use of a R60 salad bowl that he McGuyver'd into a reflector for his light. Just genius.
